‘Deadfall’ Promises to Bring Tension and Thrills
‘Deadfall’ is an upcoming action thriller starring Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde as Addison and Liza, brother and sister thieves who find themselves on the run after a botched casino job. Their paths cross with ex-boxer Jay, played by Charlie Hunnam, who is on his way home to spend Thanksgiving with his family. Their stories are tense and riveting and promise to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Eric Bana is perhaps best known for more heartfelt roles such as Henry in the film ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ but also made his mark in the action genre with the release of ‘Hanna,’ playing the father of a young and well-trained government killer. He also played the role of the villainous Nero in the 2009 update of ‘Star Trek.’ Eric is no stranger to action and thrills and he promises to deliver the goods in this film.
Olivia Wilde is known for her long-running appearance on the hit TV-series ‘House,’ and also appeared in the thriller ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ in 2011, opposite megastars Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. She too gives a top-notch performance as the wily sibling look to make a fast buck, and who gets caught up in the fast-paced world around her.
The movie is action-packed but also full of tension and thrills, and it should keep you glued to your seat from the very first frame. Twists and turns abound and each character is operating with their own agenda, each one never suspecting what is about to come their way next.
If you love action movies and tense thrillers, ‘Deadfall’ may be a good choice for you. It’s not a love story and it’s not pretty to look at, but the actors are all on top of their game and it’s said to be skillfully directed and written. You get caught up easily in their stories and may not know who to root for, and will definitely not know what happens next. ‘Deadfall’ may be a good date movie but it’s definitely not something for the kids or the entire family as they may be overwhelmed with the amount of crime and violence on the screen. It’s not overly graphic but you do want to use discretion when deciding on a film for the family.
It’s also a great choice for fans of Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde, as they both deliver intense performances. ‘Deadfall’ hits theaters later this year, so be sure to check it out!
