Great Birthday Party Places For Your Child
Your child has a birthday coming up and you have no clue what to do. The holidays are over and the house is a mess from all the parties and get togethers you’ve had, the Christmas decorations all need to be put away and you don’t think you can handle company for at least the next month. How do you pull yourself and your home together enough to host a slew of rowdy kids for the party? Have the birthday party somewhere else and let them do all the work. There are many different places you can choose from to have a birthday party that your child and his guests will never forget. Here’s some suggestions on where to have a great birthday party for kids.
Children can make their own pottery item, ranging from cups and saucers to bowls which they can decorate any way they like. The parties are all inclusive, so they provide all the supplies for a fun event for both boys and girls.
Check out local museums to see if they have birthday party packages. Many children’s museums offer a room for the party, admission to the museum and activities connected to the museum displays as entertainment. Consider transportation, train, or science museums, especially if it is something that your child loves.
Ice Skating Rinks
Most rinks have birthday party packages where guests can either bring their own skates or rent them, and organize the kids to play fun games on the ice. They can have races, skate around obstacles, or just have fun forming one big skating line.
Kids love to bowl, and almost all bowling alleys rent lanes and a party room for birthdays. Be sure and make arrangements for gutter guards, which block the gutters, so young children have a better chance of knocking the pins down. Bowling shoes can be rented there for a small fee, and may be included in the birthday party package.
Indoor Amusement Parks
There are several types of indoor amusement facilities which are designed for groups, and are ideal for birthday parties. Some have slides, bouncy houses and other fun things for the kids to jump and play on. These places are ideal to really let the kids get rid of all their pent up energy. Most have all inclusive birthday party packages and even include the goody bags.
Does your child have a favorite football team? Look into having a party at the stadium. Some provide tours of the locker rooms, and let the children go on the field. It’s a wondrous party for the child that loves football.
All of these destination parties don’t come cheap, but if you are partied out from the holidays, and having someone else do all the planning, providing the entertainment, and doing the cleaning up sounds like the best solution, it’s worth the price.
