Gwyneth Paltrow for Boss Nuit Pour Femme Fragrance
Gwyneth Paltrow is a very busy woman in front of the cameras these days. She was recently seen in the 2012 blockbuster hit “The Avengers,” alongside Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson. She is also currently filming “Ironman 3,” the third installment in the wildly successful franchise also starring Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson.
Despite her busy work schedule, Gwyneth is also known for her time with her family, specifically in the kitchen. She has authored a cookbook, inspired by her father, the late director Bruce Paltrow. She has talked openly about her love of cooking especially wholesome, nutritious meals for her husband, Chris Martin, lead singer of the band Coldplay, and their two children, Apple and Moses.
Somehow Gwyneth has also managed to find time between these many projects and pursuits to pose in front of the camera again, this time for Boss Nuit Pour Femme women’s fragrance from Hugo Boss. The print campaign is very much a reflection of Gwyneth and her own personal style; it’s sleek and polished, glamorous and sophisticated. She stands in a one-shoulder form-fitting navy blue gown in front of a window which overlooks a city skyline at night. Her golden blonde hair is smoothly pulled over to one side with a few loose curls to soften her all-American look.
Gwyneth is quoted as saying of the campaign and the fragrance, “To me, the Boss woman is driven, ambitious and goes after what she wants, but she balances being strong and very feminine at the same time — characteristics that I strive toward in my own life.”
The Boss Nuit Pour Femme is part of Hugo Boss’ building of their female side of the brand. Hugo Boss has long been known for their menswear and men’s fragrances, and they have been building their female side for many months, with great success. Women’s fragrances now represent some 2/3 of their global fragrance sales, and they are continuing to reach new customers with new lines.
The inspiration for the new Boss Nuit Pour Femme line is today’s woman; confident, ambitious, aspiring, and yet still feminine and elegant. It’s no wonder they would choose Gwyneth, one of the most successful actresses in the industry and one who has never lost her femininity while gaining her success, to be the face of their new line. Along with its print campaigns, she will be featured in TV and online ads. The line will be launched globally, staring in Germany and the U.K. in August and then the rest of the world in the months after. No doubt the fragrance will see much success with a face as lovely as Gwyneth’s in front of the campaign!
