Have Fun At Your Wedding With Wedding Games
You and your partner have planned the perfect wedding reception. You have planned a delicious menu, worked hard at creating a stunning décor with elegantly set tables, and your music set lists are designed to keep everyone dancing until the last note is played. You also may be frustrated to see that, despite all of your planning, some of your guests will enjoy the meal and then leave, without even experiencing the rest of the reception. Planning a few wedding games to play during the reception will help keep everyone entertained until the very last dance. Here are some game ideas to keep your party hopping.
Each table should remove one chair, and when the music starts, everyone goes around the table until the music stops. The person left standing is out of the game. Continue removing chairs and eliminating people until there is one left per table. That person gets to take the centerpiece home.
Wedding Shoe Game
You and your new spouse sit back to back on two chairs at the center of the room. Take off your shoes and hand one to each other, so you both have one of each. Have a member of the wedding party or someone else ask a series of questions about your relationship. For example, they can ask questions like who is the best driver, or who is the better kisser. After each question is asked, hold up the shoe of the person you think is the right answer.
Roman Hands And Russian Fingers
You are blindfolded while the best man places three small clips somewhere on the groom’s person. They should be placed in a difficult to find place, like on a shoelace or the back of his hair. You must then find all of the clips with your hands. The guests can help you by yelling warmer or colder.
Which Is My Husband
You are blindfolded and three or four men are seated in chairs. You must guess which one is your new husband by only touching their faces.
Stick the Kiss
Have a photo of the two of you enlarged to life size or draw a life size cartoon of the two of you. Have heart or kiss stickers numbered on the front and on the backing. The guests then each get a sticker, and place it where they think the groom will kiss the bride first on the wedding night. They keep the backing with the number on it. You and your groom write your answers before hand on a slip of paper and give it to the best man. Encourage the guests to place the stickers anywhere on the photo. The guests whose stickers are closest to the answers the two of you gave are the winners and get a prize.
Celebrate With A Bang
You and the groom stand and a balloon is placed between you. With your hands behind your backs, you both must pop the balloon using only your body.
