Have Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green Finally Settled Down?
Their relationship has had as many ups and downs as their careers, but sexy superstars Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green have seemed to finally settle down with each other and with their new family life. The couple were married in Hawaii in June of 2010, and are currently expecting their first child together!
Megan and Brian met in 2004 on the set of “Hope & Faith,” when she was just 18 and he was 30. They began a relationship almost immediately and announced their engagement in 2006, although they then broke up in 2009. In 2010 they somehow kissed and made up and were married just that quickly. While neither have publicly confirmed Megan’s pregnancy, recent photographs of the two of them together show an unmistakable baby bump, and Megan has stated in the past that she wants to be a mother and have a family with Brian.
So why has their relationship been through so much for so long? Some theorize that Megan’s explosive success with the “Transformers” franchise may have eclipsed Brian’s career so that he became jealous and resentful. Brian has struggled somewhat in the industry, after having been noticed for the hit series “Beverly Hills 90210.” Since that show went off the air in 2000, Brian has had roles on various series including “Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles” and “Desperate Housewives,” but most have been short-lived and brief and none have seen the commercial success of his previous series, and certainly not of the first two “Transformers” movies.
Megan has also seen success not just with the “Transformers” movies but also as a cover girl; she has appeared on the covers of Maxim, FHM, and GQ, as well as Elle and Entertainment Weekly and many others. This puts her in the public eye far more often than the exposure Brian may get from his work. Actors are notorious for being jealous and competitive, even with those closest to them, and many assume that all this attention on Megan may have left Brian feeling as if he was left in the dust.
Whatever the reasons for their past breakup, fans and friends no doubt wish them continued happiness now that they are married with a child on the way. Megan seems to have slowed down in her work since the release of “Jonah Hex” in 2010, and her impending motherhood seems to suit her just fine. Brian has expanded his work to include production behind the scenes of such shows as “Fathom” and still works steadily on TV. Hopefully they will both enjoy their relationship and their new bundle of joy once he or she arrives.
