Australia’s not too far away so it’s not surprising that Hong Kong fashion style would be seen on Australia’s catwalks.
High fashion and evening wear is designed by Dodo Leung. She is known for her ‘unique cutting and embroidery’. Dodo has been in the business for more than fifteen years. She is also acclaimed for her expensive lingerie range. Her aim is to always show off the female form in all its sexy glory.
Chaillie Ho is an interesting designer. She has been described as having ‘immense emotion and imagination’. Chaillie’s designs carry the ‘beauty of love and feminine tenderness’.
This designer specializes in women’s wear. Her beautiful and heartfelt designs are well executed and creative. She has a degree in Art and Design. Chaillie went even further with a postgraduate certificate in Innovative Pattern Cutting.
Chaillie Ho worked with a number of celebrated fashion designers and her first collection was shown when she was twenty seven. Her conviction that ‘clothes accentuate a woman’s delicate beauty’ has never wavered.
Harrison Wong spent six years working under the highly acclaimed Hong Kong fashion designer, Walter Ma. It was during this time that Harrison won the ‘Hong Kong Young Designer Competition’. He also won an award for ‘Asian Fashion’ in Japan.
Harrison went on to get a Masters degree in London. He then started his label that supplied high end boutiques. After that he was a designer for a Hong Kong fashion chain until last year. He now focuses on his own ‘Harrison Wong’ label.
Hong Kong style is much loved in Australia and is also making an international impact due to the exquisite fabrics, finishes, workmanship, tailoring and design.
