JK Rowling Buys House in Tasmania

JK Rowling, author of Harry Potter books, will spend holidays in Tasmania. She purchased a historical Georgian home on the island. It was constructed using convict labor. There’s also 856 hectares of farm land.
The comfortable home is fairly isolated but only 25 kilometers from Launceston.
JK aka Joanne Kathleen is married to Dr Neil Murray. The couple has two children, David, 8 and Mackenzie, 6. JK has a daughter, Jessica, 18 from her first marriage. The family is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Every 3 days, JK earns 1 million GBP from the Harry Potter enterprise.
